Vehicle Emission Testing Stations (Click here for locations)
CLOSURE NOTICE: All DEQ vehicle testing stations will be closed on Wednesday, November 11, in honor of Veterans Day. Stations will also close early on Wednesday, November 25 at 7 p.m.
Stations will also be closed on Thursday, November 26 for Thanksgiving and on Friday, November 27, a mandatory unpaid furlough day due to state budget cuts. We apologize for any inconvenience.
All Portland-Metro area stations are closed on Mondays and open late on Wednesdays. Tuesday is generally the busiest day of the week for Portland-Metro area Vehicle Inspection Stations. Lines are often shorter on Thursdays and Fridays and mid-month.
DEQ operates seven Clean Air Stations in the Portland area and Rogue Valley. You can make reservations at the Clackamas, Gresham and Sunset stations by calling (503) 229-5066.
